Don, an Army veteran who served during World War 2 and the Korean War, was our guest of honor at U.S. Bank Stadium for game day. From the sideline to the crowd’s ovation, it was a day to say what too often goes unsaid: thank you. Moments like this are made possible by the Pillars of Valor community.

It started before kickoff. Chris walked into TCO stadium not as a face in the crowd, but as the guest of honor — greeted by staff, players, and fellow veterans who understood exactly what his service meant. He got the opportunity to meet one of his all time favorites, Harrison Smith.
When Chris got to go onto the field name, it was a memory that will stick with him forever. As a Vikings fan — he said it was the experience of a lifetime.
